Live Your Dream Awards

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women provide women who serve as the primary wage earners for their families with the financial resources to offset costs associated with higher education, additional skills, or career training. Recipients can use the award for tuition, books, childcare, transportation, and any other education-related expenses.

The Greater Cleveland Chapter of Soroptimists select award recipients from our own local communities. Our first-place honoree also becomes a candidate for a $5000 regional award; and from there, an international award of $10,000.

Live Your Dream Award Recipients

Are the primary wage-earners for their household
Are responsible for dependents such as children, spouse, or parent

Are enrolled in an undergraduate degree program or vocational/skills training program

Need financial assistance for expenses related to education, such as tuition, transportation, and childcare

Have a plan for furthering their career through education
Are motivated to work toward their goals
